Managed paperwork and coordination for 120 attendees.

User Support: Reorganized Information Technology support office. Offered phone and on-site users with technical support, Mac OS and productivity application training for 60± users across five locations throughout the campus. Legacy Systems Coordination: Oversaw the downloading / uploading of files from legacy Mainframe applications and a custom FoxPro database. Helped match changing Excel formats with Mainframe requirements. Macintosh to Windows NT Transition: Helped design, implement, and troubleshoot converting from 55 Macs to 100 Windows NT v4 workstations and three NT v3.5.1 Servers. This included OS, productivity application and QuickMail to Eudora Pro e-mail changes, user retraining, Mac file conversion, server setup, PC hardware, network and software configuration troubleshooting, individual and group training.

Supervise, hire, train, and review two supervisors and 3.5 FTE bargaining unit clerical staff. Supervise Cashier/Privileges Office ($300,000 collected annually) and Circulation staff (150,000 loans annually). Consulted on, implemented and documented mainframe Automated Patron Accounting system. Create complex forms for Circulation and Cashier / Privileges Office using Microsoft Word for DOS, Windows and Macintosh. Write external correspondence for sensitive privileges and billing matters (300 per year). Adjudicate appeals from faculty, staff, students, and visitors for Library privileges and disputed loans. Issue periodic “Automation Updates” to departmental circulation supervisors about the Library mainframe database. Instigated, facilitated and provided documentation for a PC users group for Library staff.
